Draft: written from how the app works today and not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Have it reviewed before launch.

Sono Affamato lets you rate restaurants and the food you eat there and share it with friends. This page says what we keep and who else sees it.

What we store

Who can see your ratings

Each rating is public, friends-only or only you. You set a default in Settings and can change it per rating. Only-you ratings are never used for taste matches, rankings or feeds. If you block someone, neither of you sees the other's ratings.

Your location

We ask for your location only when you tap Rate now or Show my location. It is sent to our server once to find restaurants near you and is not stored. If you say no, everything else still works and you can search instead.

Photos

Photos are resized on our server and stored with Cloudflare. Their location data and other embedded details are removed before they are stored. You can upload up to 10 a day. Deleting a photo, a rating or your account deletes the stored file.
